Our firm started in its current form in 1987, but can be traced back to the late 1960’s. The current owners have been with the firm since 1996 (Jeremy) and 2000 (Philip).

As Systems Designer I review all of our business processes to make sure they serve both our needs and, more importantly, the needs of our clients. I am passionate about creating systems that work well and are simple to use and I love putting my organisational skills to good use.

Partner, Accountant
Jeremy qualified as an accountant in 1991, has been with the Gill, McKerrow team since 1996, and has been a partner since 2000.

Philip Newell
Partner, Accountant
Philip qualified as an accountant in 1999, has been with the Gill, McKerrow team since 2000. He achieved Manager status in 2003 and has been a partner since 2007. He has a keen interest in Family Business from start up through to succession planning for future generations. Philip likes to focus on improving client business operations and profitability.

Rebecca Newell
Undergraduate Accountant
Rebecca commenced work at Gill, McKerrow in July 2007 as an administration officer. She has worked her way up through study and hard work to her current position and is half way through her Bachelor of Commerce at Griffith University.
